Murder Case of Unram Student Uncovered, One Suspect Arrested
The murder case of Universitas Mataram (Unram) student Nadya Dwi Ramadhany, also known as NDR (21), has finally been uncovered. A suspect has been arrested. “Yes, it is true, we have secured him today,” Mataram Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP I Made Dharma Yulia Putra told detikBali on Wednesday (29/7/2026). The suspect, with the initial H, was arrested in the Mataram City area. However, Dharma has not yet revealed the suspect’s full identity. “We have arrested one suspect. The suspect was apprehended in the Mataram City area,” he said. When asked about the motive for the murder and the relationship between the suspect and the victim, Dharma did not provide further explanation. “Later,” he replied briefly. Nadya was found dead in her boarding room in the Gomong area, Selaparang District, Mataram City, NTB, on a Sunday evening (17/5/2026). The woman, originally from Desa Beru, Jereweh District, Sumbawa Regency, NTB, was discovered by a friend who had come looking for her. The victim was found lying on her back and had already begun to emit a foul odour. The boarding room was locked, and her mobile phone and motorcycle were missing.
