Jakarta (ANTARA) — Herryyanto, Director of Account Management for FSI and Commercial at Multipolar Technology, stressed the importance of orchestrating artificial intelligence (AI) as part of a company’s core systems.

“This approach positions AI not merely as a standalone model or application, but as an integrated system involving data, platforms, infrastructure, security and business operations,” Herryyanto said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

He said this need was becoming increasingly relevant as companies entered the era of Frontier AI, a category of AI models with the most advanced capabilities available at a given time.

He explained that AI’s development was creating opportunities for companies to boost productivity, accelerate decision-making and automate business processes.

As the technology develops, he said, the boundaries of Frontier AI’s capabilities continue to shift. This is moving AI beyond simply answering questions towards being able to take action.

According to Herryyanto, AI has evolved from assistants that provide information, to copilots that help with work, AI agents that use tools to complete tasks, and multi-agent systems that coordinate different roles and workflows.

“The more independently AI operates, the more important governance, monitoring and oversight by human teams become,” he said.

For Multipolar Technology, AI orchestration means connecting data, AI agents, applications, infrastructure and automation through a single enterprise approach, with security, governance, compliance and system resilience built in from the outset.

Through an AI Framework, companies can establish a foundation for developing use cases more systematically, from initial stages to broader deployment, without neglecting controls and operational requirements.

Companies need to take a holistic view of AI, rather than considering only which model to use or whether to deploy it in the cloud or on-premises.

Multipolar Technology Senior Vice President Achmad Fakhrudin explained that Frontier AI does not refer to a particular brand or model, but to the most advanced category of AI capabilities at any given time.

These capabilities continue to evolve, including in reasoning, programming, planning and tool use. This can be seen in AI’s progression from assistants that answer questions, to copilots that help with work, agents that use tools to complete tasks, and multi-agent systems that coordinate different roles and workflows.

“In this way, AI can develop into a managed enterprise system, rather than just a collection of separate technologies,” he said.
