Indonesia has successfully established several points of cooperation with Singapore. The bilateral agreements, reached on Monday (6/7/2026) at the State Palace, consist of 18 inter-governmental cooperation agreements and 8 business-to-business agreements. Regarding this, President Prabowo stated that the meeting reflects the deepening strategic partnership between Indonesia and Singapore across various sectors.

“This meeting has resulted in 26 tangible achievements, concrete milestones in various fields. 18 inter-governmental cooperation agreements and 8 business-to-business agreements. These achievements reflect our increasingly broad and deep cooperation,” said Prabowo, as quoted on Monday (6/7).

In this meeting, Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong was present, accompanied by Deputy PM and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong, Coordinating Minister for Public Service Delivery and Minister for Defence Chan Chun Sing, Foreign Minister Vivian Balaukranan, Minister for Social and Family Development Masagos Zulkifli, and Minister for Manpower, Energy and Science & Technology Tan See Leng.

Meanwhile, from the Indonesian side, attendees included Foreign Minister Sugiono, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, Cabinet Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Roeslani, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Prabowo’s Private Secretary Rizky Irmansyah.

Based on the attendees, it can be concluded that the agreements cover sectors related to energy, defence, and the economy. PM Wong noted that he sees significant opportunities for development in Indonesia within the sectors included in the cooperation points.

“This investment is more than just capital flow. This investment creates businesses, downstream industries, digital infrastructure, opportunities, and good employment for the Indonesian people. And our companies continue to see many opportunities here,” said PM Wong.

In addition to PM Wong, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also visited Indonesia to meet President Prabowo Subianto. This visit is described as a return visit following Prabowo’s previous trip to India. Moving forward, Modi stated that India will establish new cooperation agreements with Indonesia.

This was confirmed by Foreign Minister Sugiono, who mentioned that in the near future, there will be cooperation agreements between the two nations covering sectors ranging from healthcare to education.

“There will be several agreements and MoUs discussed and signed tomorrow. The core point is that both heads of state share a strong chemistry, which is a step towards strengthening the brotherhood and friendship between Indonesia and India,” Sugiono told reporters at Halim Perdanakusuma Airbase, Jakarta, on Monday (6/7).

It is planned that seven cooperation agreements will be agreed upon between Indonesia and India, covering sectors such as defence, healthcare, education, and technology development.
