A multi-vehicle pile-up occurred on the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (Tol JORR) involving seven vehicles. The incident took place at approximately km 30.800 B at 15:44 WIB on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, according to AKBP Ojo Ruslani, Deputy Head of Law Enforcement and Traffic at Jakarta Metro Police.

The seven vehicles involved were a wing-box truck, Honda BRV, two diesel trucks, Toyota Innova, Gran Max van, and a Fuso truck, all travelling eastbound. At the incident location, the Fuso truck experienced brake failure (rem blong) at lane 2 and collided with the vehicle ahead, triggering a chain-reaction collision.

As Ojo explained: “Under overcast conditions, at km 30+800 B in lane 2, the seventh vehicle (Fuso) experienced brake failure and struck the sixth vehicle. The sixth vehicle lost control and collided with the fifth, fourth, and third vehicles. The seventh vehicle then lost control, changed lanes to lane 1, and struck the second and first vehicles.”

The truck subsequently shifted lanes and struck additional vehicles. Officers arrived at the scene to conduct evacuation procedures and secured the vehicles to a safer area beyond the Gedong 2 toll gate.

According to Ojo, two people sustained minor injuries and were treated at Pasar Rebo Hospital. The Honda BRV and Gran Max van sustained severe damage, with considerable material losses reported across the vehicles involved.
