Mulialand's profit up

JAKARTA (JP): PT Mulialand, a property company, yesterday announced an increase of its after-tax profit to Rp 21.2 billion (US$9.7 million) during the first six months of this year from Rp 12.9 billion in the same period of last year.

"We are optimistic that the company's net profit will likely reach Rp 71.3 billion this year due to the recent operation of its new multi-story apartment building and shopping center in Taman Anggrek, South Jakarta," Mulialand's president, Haryanto Thamrin, said here yesterday.

Mulialand, a subsidiary of the Mulia Group, listed 25 million shares on the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) in August. (fhp)
