Muhammad Yusuf Ateh Appointed Telkomsel Commissioner

Shareholders of PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel), namely PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk and Singapore Telecom Mobile Pte. Ltd., have appointed Muhammad Yusuf Ateh as a Telkomsel Commissioner. The decision was made on 29 May 2026 and will take effect from 1 June 2026. Yusuf Ateh’s appointment is part of efforts to strengthen corporate governance and strategic leadership at Telkomsel amid the evolving telecommunications industry. In a statement received by KompasTekno on Sunday (31 May 2026), Telkomsel stated that the move also aims to maintain profitability and drive sustainable business growth. “This step aligns with the telecommunications sector’s recovery post-consolidation, where competition is shifting towards value-based approaches, innovation, and customer experience,” said Telkomsel’s VP of Corporate Communications & Social Responsibility, Abdullah Fahmi. Thus, the current composition of Telkomsel’s Board of Commissioners is as follows: Looking ahead, Telkomsel will continue investing in 5G networks to strengthen core connectivity services. Additionally, Telkomsel plans to expand convergence services and digital solutions for both individual and corporate customers. Through this strategy, Telkomsel aims for sustainable business growth while supporting national digital transformation and creating value for customers and stakeholders.
