MUF and BSI partner to expand Islamic financing
Jakarta (ANTARA) – PT Mandiri Utama Finance (MUF), through MUF Syariah, is strengthening its partnership with PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) to expand Islamic financing for the public. The initiative includes offering BSI OTO vehicle financing at the BSI International Expo 2026, held at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC).
“MUF Syariah is offering a range of attractive deals, including down payments starting at zero per cent, financing consultations, and access to test drives and trade-ins at one location,” said Mandiri Utama Finance SEVP Judy Lesmana in Jakarta on Friday.
She said the partnership with BSI was a key step for MUF in expanding access to Sharia-based financing.
Through the event, MUF is providing services and special offers to help members of the public obtain vehicles that suit their preferences.
Judy said that during the BSI Expo, BSI OTO Flash Sale offers would include administration fees starting at Rp1, as well as administration-fee options of Rp1 million and Rp2 million, and MAP and shopping vouchers worth Rp1 million each.
The BSI OTO Special BSI International Expo 2026 programme also offers shopping vouchers for test drives, electronic prizes and a fast-track approval facility.
The BSI OTO Gebyar Berkah programme is offering gifts including jackets, helmets, televisions, dashcams and electric motorbikes to the first 50 vehicle buyers who meet the requirements.
MUF Syariah is also providing additional benefits for new-car financing, including Rp10 million in third-party liability protection, one year of flood insurance for electric vehicles, and an Autoglaze voucher worth Rp3 million.
“For new-motorbike financing, personal accident protection worth Rp5 million is available,” Judy said.
MUF Syariah is working with Carsome to offer Trade-in by Carsome, including inspections and valuations to help visitors establish their vehicle’s value before trading it in.
All programmes are subject to their respective eligibility criteria, quotas, terms and conditions.
Judy added that, through its partnership with BSI, MUF was continuing to widen access to Sharia-compliant vehicle financing, helping people meet their mobility needs more easily and planfully.
“This collaboration is also part of MUF’s commitment to supporting the development of a more inclusive Islamic economic ecosystem,” Judy said.
