The national one-way traffic engineering for the 2026 Lebaran mudik exodus began implementation today. This policy is then continued with local one-way measures up to Km 459 on the Semarang-Solo Toll.

The national one-way was enforced this afternoon starting from the Cikampek Main Toll (Cikatama) Km 70 to Km 414 Kalikangkung Toll. This traffic engineering policy is carried out to smooth the flow of vehicles from Jakarta towards the Trans Java Toll.

The national one-way engineering is then continued with local one-way from Km 414 Kalikangkung Toll to Km 442 Semarang-Solo Toll at 4:30 PM WIB. This step is to maintain the smooth flow of vehicles heading towards Bawen, Solo to Surabaya.

At the police’s discretion, the local one-way policy was then extended again at 5:20 PM WIB. The local one-way is now extended to Km 459 Semarang-Solo Toll.

This extension is part of an integrated effort to ensure traffic distribution remains controlled, especially towards southern Central Java and East Java.

“Through solid synergy between JTT, JSB, and TMJ, we ensure comprehensive operational readiness, from preparing personnel, optimising toll gates, to supporting traffic facilities and infrastructure. This is done to guarantee that traffic engineering runs effectively, safely, and orderly,” said Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, to reporters on Wednesday (18/3/2026).

Jasa Marga also recorded that the number of vehicles exiting Jakarta has reached 1.1 million during this year’s Lebaran mudik season. This figure is 32 percent of the total projected vehicles that will leave Jakarta.

“Media colleagues, today (17 March) at 10:00 PM, the vehicle flow out of Jakarta reached 1.1 million, or 1,100,000. Thus entering 32% of the projection, it has started to increase from previous days,” said President Director of PT Jasa Marga, Rivan A. Purwantono, at the command centre Km 29 Jakarta-Cikampek Toll, North Cikarang, on Tuesday (17/3).
