Mudik Security Strategy and Polri's Humanistic Approach Appreciated

The security for the 2026 Lebaran mudik and return flows is assessed as running well, safely, and smoothly. The traffic flow management strategy up to the humanistic approach of Polri members is considered a key factor in the smooth Lebaran mudik 2026.

The General Chairman of Rampai Nusantara (RN), Mardiansyah, expressed high appreciation to the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and all Polri ranks for the effectiveness of managing the mudik and return flows during Lebaran 2026.

According to him, this success is the result of hard work, synergy, and the readiness of police apparatus who were able to anticipate various potential challenges in the field, from traffic density to safety aspects for travellers.

“Rampai Nusantara gives the highest appreciation to the National Police Chief and all Polri ranks who have worked optimally in ensuring this year’s Lebaran mudik and return flows run smoothly, safely, and under control,” he said in his statement on Sunday (29/3/2026).

He assessed that several strategic policies implemented, such as traffic engineering, technology-based monitoring, and cross-sector coordination, were effective in alleviating congestion and minimising accident rates.

He also highlighted the humanistic approach shown by officers in the field. According to him, this humanistic attitude provides a sense of comfort and safety for the community during their mudik journey.

“Not only about smoothness, but also how Polri is present with a humanistic approach to the community. This is an important point that deserves appreciation,” he added.

He hopes this achievement can be maintained and improved for other major moments, and become a standard in professional and responsive public services to the needs of the community.

He also invited all elements of society to continue supporting the performance of security apparatus for the creation of a conducive situation throughout Indonesia.
