Mudik Post at KM 57 Open 24 Hours, Free Tyre Repair

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – In anticipation of the 2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming season, PT Sumi Rubber Indonesia is once again presenting the Dunlop Mudik Post. This is done as a form of commitment to support the safety and comfort of public travel. Based on a survey by the Republic of Indonesia’s Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub), it is estimated that around 143.9 million people will undertake homecoming journeys during Eid al-Fitr 2026, using various modes of land, sea, and air transport. The high mobility makes vehicle conditions, particularly tyres, an important factor in driving safety. “As one of Indonesia’s leading tyre brands, Dunlop places consumers as the top priority. Through this Dunlop Mudik Post, we aim to provide driving safety education, particularly regarding the importance of tyre conditions,” said Sales & Marketing Director of PT Sumi Rubber Indonesia, Tomohiro Senna, in Jakarta on Wednesday (18/3/2026). The Dunlop Mudik Post at the KM 57 Rest Area of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road will operate 24 hours from 14-20 March 2026. The technicians will provide various free services, such as tyre condition checks, nitrogen filling, balancing, puncture repairs, tyre purchase promotions, and consultations on tyre maintenance for all tyre brands.
