Mudik More Comfortable and Stylish, Pertamina Prepares Enduro Lesehan and Standby Workshops for 2026

Tradition of mudik has evolved into part of modern life; returning home is no longer merely an annual routine but a well-planned moment for family comfort and safety. To welcome this year’s mudik flow, PT Pertamina Lubricants launched the Ramadan Idul Fitri Programme (RAFI) on 4 March 2026 with a more comprehensive service concept.

In the launch, PT Pertamina Lubricants’ Vice President of Marketing Nugroho Setyo Utomo underscored that mudik carries a strong emotional value for Indonesian society.

‘Mudik is always a moment for us to share memories with family. A moment to draw warmth closer to family. Because we are usually busy and rarely meet. It is a moment we hope to give precious memories,’ Nugroho said.

RAFI 2026 is built on three main pillars: digital activation, a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, and on-route services. On the digital front, Pertamina Lubricants has introduced the ‘Saatnya Hujan Rezeki’ campaign with total prizes amounting to tens of millions of rupiah through social-media competitions such as Sahur Enduro, Sahur Fastron, and Sahur Meditran. The programme encourages the public to share experiences of vehicle servicing prior to mudik.

Along the land route, the concepts of Lesehan Enduro and Serambi Fastron become the main draw. These facilities are not merely ordinary rest areas. Travellers can enjoy free haircuts, reflexology massages, free Wi‑Fi, takjil, children’s play areas, and oil changes and light servicing. This approach reflects a shift in mindset that a safe journey must remain comfortable and enjoyable.

Nugroho emphasised the importance of managing the driver’s physical condition. ‘Do not push yourself to the limit. Rest for five to twenty minutes is far better than forcing yourself and risking an accident,’ he said.

He also highlighted technical awareness of vehicles as part of a responsible driving lifestyle. ‘Many people never read the vehicle manual. The oil specifications, tyre pressures — all of these affect safety. One cause of accidents is a vehicle not in prime condition,’ he explained.

The Mudik Preparation Workshop will run from 6–7 March 2026, while the Mudik Standby Workshop operates from 14–20 March 2026 at various points in Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi. Checks include oil changes, wiper checks, tyre pressures, and other safety components.

‘We want to be present not only to sell products, but to ensure every journey of Indonesian families is safer and more comfortable,’ Nugroho asserted.
