Mudik 2026: Nine Jasa Marga Toll Road Sections with 30% Tariff Discount
The implementation of a 30% toll tariff discount to welcome the Eid holiday exodus in 2026 has been officially expanded. Rather than being limited to a single operator, this price reduction covers various strategic sections along the Trans-Java and Trans-Sumatra corridors to provide cost relief for people travelling during the early migration period.
Based on the latest data from the Toll Road Regulatory Body (BPJT), this discount targets road users undertaking continuous long-distance journeys. The aim is to distribute vehicle accumulation at major toll gates more evenly before the peak exodus period on 18 March 2026.
The following are the details of toll sections in Java officially implementing tariff discounts effective 16 March 2026. For the Sumatra region, tariff discounts are provided on sections with high vehicle volumes.
It should be noted that this 30% discount applies only to vehicles making continuous journeys. For example, on Trans-Java, vehicles must enter at Cikampek Utama Toll Gate and exit at Kalikangkung Toll Gate (or vice versa during the return journey) to automatically receive the price discount.
With the implementation of discounts on the aforementioned sections, the following represents estimated costs for Class I vehicles on the most popular routes.
The public is urged to always check their electronic money (e-toll) balance sufficiency before entering toll roads. Jasa Marga emphasises that if the balance is insufficient when tapping at the exit gate, the 30% discount entitlement will automatically be forfeited because the system cannot process the price reduction.
The government activated the 30% toll tariff discount effective 16 March 2026 to ease congestion during the Eid holiday exodus. Travellers are advised to plan their journeys wisely and ensure adequate e-toll balances to benefit from the discount scheme.
