Musi Banyuasin Regency (Muba) has entered the top six out of 415 regencies and cities in the 2026 Assessment of One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) Performance and Business Implementation Acceleration Performance (PBB) for Regional Governments, conducted by the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM RI.

As part of the assessment stage, a Verification Team conducted a field visit to Muba Regency on Wednesday (19/8/2026).

The arrival of the team, led by the Director of Deconcentration, Assistance Tasks and Cooperation of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Dr Elfin Elyas SSos MSi, was welcomed by Muba Regent H M Toha Tohet SH at the Griya Bumi Serasan Sekate Guest House.

The team also involved the Deputy Assistant for Facilitation of Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Service Performance at the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Dr R Roro Vera Yuwantri Susilastuti SIP MSi, as well as a team of experts from PT Surveyor Indonesia, Fahmi Taftazani.

After the welcoming ceremony, the team proceeded with direct verification at the Muba Public Service Mall (MPP) to ensure that services on the ground were in line with the presentation delivered by the Muba Regency Government on 5 August.

Elfin said that the visit was not merely to seek a score, but to see firsthand the quality of services, including ensuring that the public obtains ease in managing various services.

“All the presentations delivered on 5 August were excellent. So we were asked to check the field. Our purpose in coming here is not solely to seek a score, but to see what is already good and what needs to be improved,” he said.

“We want to ensure everything is running well and that Muba deserves to be among the top six. Muba’s MPP is really impressive; we request permission to inspect the MPP,” said Elfin.

Muba Regent H M Toha Tohet SH expressed appreciation for the arrival of the assessment team and welcomed the evaluation process being carried out.
