MRT Jakarta Offers Rp 1 Fare for Three Days to Celebrate City's 499th Anniversary

MRT Jakarta is introducing a special fare of Rp 1 per journey to enliven the 499th anniversary celebrations of Jakarta. The programme will run on 22, 27, and 28 June 2026.

According to an Instagram post, the promotion is valid from 05:00 to 24:00 Western Indonesia Time. The special fare can be enjoyed by both new and existing MRT Jakarta customers.

The programme applies to users of bank-issued Electronic Money Cards from 2019 onwards, QR tickets from the MyMRTJ app, QR tickets from MyMRTJ Lite vending machines, MyMRTJ Chat QR tickets, as well as Multi Trip Cards (KMT) and JakLingko Cards.

Additionally, the Rp 1 fare is valid for MyMRTJ app users who have linked various digital payment methods. These include MartiPay, AstraPay, ISaku, GoPay, YUP Paylater, blu BCA digital bank accounts with a minimum balance of Rp 1, Mastercard credit cards, and Kredivo accounts that still have available credit limits.

For users of bank Electronic Money Cards, KMT, or JakLingko Cards, this promotion can be utilised as long as the card has a minimum balance of Rp 1.

PT MRT Jakarta is also providing direct purchase of Rp 1 fare tickets through MyMRTJ Lite Ticket Vending Machines (TVM) available at all MRT Jakarta stations. Payment can be made using QRIS, debit cards, or credit cards.

In addition to TVM, promotional tickets can also be purchased through the MyMRTJ Chat service at 0851-4786-1621 or via the link bit.ly/MyMRTJChat. However, specifically for purchases made through MyMRTJ Lite TVM and MyMRTJ Chat, customers will be charged a ticket delivery service fee of Rp 2,000 for each ticket purchase transaction.
