MRT Implements Rp 243 Fare for Today

PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) is implementing a fare of Rp 243 per person today, Tuesday, 24 March 2026. This tariff is applied during MRT Day, which falls on 24 March 2026, commemorating the first day of MRT operations in Jakarta on 24 March 2019. The Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda), Rendy Primartantyo, stated that this special tariff also aims to encourage increased use of comfortable, safe, and integrated public transportation in Jakarta. “The Rp 243 fare applies to journeys using MRT Jakarta with certain payment methods through the MyMRTJ app,” he said in a written statement on Tuesday, 24 March 2026. Rendy explained that the promotional fare is valid only today for ticket purchases via the MyMRTJ app and using specified partner payment methods, namely Kredivo, blu by BCA Digital, and GoPay. Each user can enjoy the promotion only once during the programme period. MRT Jakarta is also presenting a series of programmes running from 24 March to 24 April 2026. As the highlight of the series, MRT Jakarta will hold the 2026 MRT Day Festival, open to the public, on 24–25 April 2026. This series of commemorations is also part of the “Melaju Menyatukan Masa Depan Kota” campaign, reflecting MRT Jakarta’s commitment to connecting spaces, communities, and the city’s future. Information regarding the 2026 MRT Day activities and passenger service programmes can be accessed via MRT Jakarta’s official social media and the MyMRTJ app. “MRT Jakarta urges all customers to continue following the rules and procedures while using the service, as well as maintaining order and mutual comfort in public transportation,” Rendy said.
