MRT Day 2026: Fare Just Rp243 Today

The fare applies to journeys using Jakarta MRT with payment via the MyMRTJ app, stated Corporate Secretary Division Head of PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Rendy Primartantyo in Jakarta on Tuesday. He explained that the promotion also applies specifically using payment methods from designated partners, namely Kredivo, blu by BCA Digital, and GoPay. Rendy noted that each user can enjoy the promotion only once during the programme period. Furthermore, Rendy explained that MRT Day is commemorated every 24 March as a milestone for the operation of Jakarta MRT services since 2019. “This commemoration serves as a reflection on the role of MRT Jakarta in supporting safe, comfortable, and sustainable urban mobility,” said Rendy. For this year’s commemoration, MRT Jakarta is presenting a series of programmes running from 24 March to 24 April 2026. Several activities are prepared as a form of appreciation to the public as well as an effort to bring MRT services closer to the public. As the highlight of the series, MRT Jakarta will organise the MRT Day 2026 Festival, open to the public on 24–25 April 2026. This series of commemorations also forms part of the “Melaju Menyatukan Masa Depan Kota” campaign, reflecting MRT Jakarta’s commitment to connecting spaces, communities, and the city’s future. Information regarding the MRT Day 2026 activities series and MRT Jakarta passenger service programmes can be accessed through MRT Jakarta’s official social media channels and the MyMRTJ app. “MRT Jakarta urges all customers to continue following the rules and procedures while using the service, as well as maintaining order and mutual comfort in public transport,” said Rendy.
