PT Daya Intiguna Yasa Tbk (MDIY), known as MR.D.I.Y., recorded a revenue growth of 24.5 per cent year-on-year to Rp4.6 trillion during the first half of 2026. Alongside this performance, the company’s gross profit rose by 15.7 per cent year-on-year to Rp2.4 trillion, while net profit grew by 16.4 per cent year-on-year to Rp590.7 billion.

In a written statement in Jakarta on Thursday, MR.D.I.Y. Indonesia President Director Edwin Cheah stated that these achievements reflect the relevance of the company’s value proposition to customer preferences. “Accessibility and affordability are at the core of the Company’s business model. As consumers become increasingly prudent with their spending, they seek reliable products that offer real value,” said Edwin.

The number of transactions for MR.D.I.Y. Indonesia grew by 23.3 per cent, supported by network expansion and increased demand for quality products at affordable prices. During the first half of 202lar, the company opened 130 new stores, bringing the total MR.D.I.Y. Indonesia network to 1,349 stores nationwide.

“Our priority is to continue understanding evolving customer needs and remaining relevant in their daily lives. This is how we build long-term customer trust while driving sustainable growth,” he added.

Alongside business growth, the company is strengthening its social contributions through the ‘MR.D.I.Y. For Indonesia’ initiative, which focuses on three pillars: women and children empowerment, environmental sustainability, and the empowerment of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Under the women and children empowerment pillar, the company distributed approximately 10,000 STEM Kits to children during the first half of the year. For environmental sustainability, the company expanded its partnership with climate-tech firm Rekosistem by providing recycling drop-off facilities in 52 MR.D.I.Y. Indonesia stores across various regions. Through the MSME empowerment pillar, the company organises mentoring and training programmes for MSMEs and local supplier partners to strengthen business capacity and support the growth of the national supply chain. “These efforts further strengthen our position as a brand relied upon by Indonesian families to meet their daily needs,” said Edwin.
