MPR Says 2026 Annual Session Will Not Feature Traditional Attire
Wakil Ketua MPR RI Eddy Soeparno stated that this year’s MPR Annual Session will not use traditional attire as has been the practice in previous years. Male participants are required to wear full formal civilian attire (Pakaian Sipil Lengkap/PSL), while female participants will adjust accordingly. Eddy explained that the implementation of this year’s Annual Session is generally no different from previous years. The session is scheduled to take place on Friday (14/8) and will start earlier so that the entire series of events can be completed before the Friday prayers. He said the MPR will invite all former presidents and vice presidents. Eddy mentioned that the delivery of invitations will be carried out directly by MPR leaders as a form of respect.
