Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Chairman of the National Awakening Party (F-PKB) Faction in the MPR RI, Neng Eem Marhamah Zulfa Hiz, stated that a comprehensive evaluation of the Empat Pilar MPR RI Quiz Competition (LCC) programme is underway to enable its continuation in an improved manner.

According to her, the LCC programme is a beneficial initiative for socialising Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the Unitary Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika to all Indonesian society, including high school students as part of national values education.

“This LCC programme has proven to be an effective socialisation programme for the Four Pillars of the MPR RI, so it must be continued. During my visits to the regions, the public, including school students, were very enthusiastic about this event,” said Neng Eem in her statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

The PKB Faction also appreciates the decision of the MPR Secretary General to deactivate the judging panel and the event host (MC) in this LCC activity, as well as accepting input from the public for a comprehensive evaluation.

“The PKB Faction agrees with the MPR Secretary General’s decision that what happened in the LCC final in West Kalimantan must serve as a lesson for the organising committee so that it does not happen again in the future,” she emphasised.

The comprehensive evaluation that must be conducted, she said, covers all aspects, including the technical implementation, assessment mechanisms, participant answer verification system, and the management of competition objections, so that future implementations can be even better, transparent, and accountable.

Previously, the MPR RI General Secretariat (Setjen) deactivated the judging panel and the event host (MC) in the 2026 Empat Pilar MPR RI Quiz Competition (LCC) at the West Kalimantan Provincial Level due to the polemic of scoring errors.

“Regarding the widespread news on social media… concerning the assessment of participants’ answers in one of the competition sessions, the organising committee from the MPR RI General Secretariat has deactivated the judging panel and MC in this LCC activity,” stated the MPR RI General Secretariat’s statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday.

The MPR RI General Secretariat expressed apologies and acknowledged the negligence of the judging panel in the final round held in Pontianak on Saturday (9/5).
