MPR Member Says Four Pillars Quiz Competition Equips Young Generation for Digital Era

Member of the MPR RI Socialisation Body Dwita Ria Gunadi has assessed that the 2026 MPR RI Four Pillars Quiz Competition (LCC) plays an important role in strengthening national insight while shaping the character of the younger generation amid the rapid flow of information and the development of digital technology.

According to her, today’s young generation lives in a digital environment that allows information from various sources to be received very quickly. These conditions demand that young people possess not only academic ability but also strong national character and the capacity to filter and verify information.

“They can now tell which information is a hoax and which is truly in accordance with data and with the noble values of the nation. With this LCC, they are genuinely learning and this becomes a provision for their future,” Dwita said in her statement on Tuesday (26/8/2026).

This was conveyed by the MPR RI member from the Gerindra Party faction while attending the preliminary round of the 2026 MPR RI Four Pillars LCC National Grand Final for senior secondary schools and equivalents at the Pustakaloka Room, Nusantara IV Building, Parliamentary Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Tuesday (25/8/2026).

Dwita revealed that the MPR RI Four Pillars LCC Grand Final, which brings together the best students from all provinces in Indonesia, is not merely a competition arena. The activity also serves as a learning space for the younger generation to understand and implement the values of Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in social, national and state life.

“I have participated in this MPR RI Four Pillars Quiz Competition several times and I see that this activity is indeed very important. Moreover, the participants are representatives from all provinces in Indonesia,” said the people’s representative from the Lampung II electoral district.

Dwita emphasised that understanding national and state life cannot be sufficiently obtained through theoretical learning alone. Through the MPR RI Four Pillars LCC, participants can test and simultaneously apply their knowledge of the constitution, nationality and state administration in answering various questions and problems.

Dwita admitted she was amazed to see the participants’ abilities during the competition rounds. According to her, the participants were able to answer various questions related to the 1945 Constitution, laws, MPR Decrees, and other state administration knowledge very well.

According to Dwita, mastery of national insight will help the younger generation understand various events around them more critically. They not only know the issues occurring in Indonesia and the world, but are also able to assess and respond to information based on data, knowledge and constitutional foundations.

Dwita assessed that the implementation of the 2026 MPR RI Four Pillars LCC has gone well. Nevertheless, a comprehensive evaluation is still needed to identify various obstacles while maintaining and improving aspects that have already worked well.

“I hope the MPR RI Four Pillars LCC can continue to be implemented sustainably and reach more schools in various regions,” she said.

Dwita also expressed appreciation and encouragement to all participants of the MPR RI Four Pillars LCC. According to her, victory in a competition is indeed something to be proud of because it is the result of hard work, ability and the courage to represent one’s region, family and school.

To the winners, Dwita advised that the achievement should become a momentum to further strengthen Indonesian character and national insight. Meanwhile, for participants who did not win, she asked them not to stop learning and to continue developing their abilities.

The preliminary round of the 2026 MPR RI Four Pillars LCC Grand Final was attended by 18 schools representing their respective provinces. The 18 schools were divided into six preliminary round sessions, namely Preliminary Round 7 to Preliminary Round 12. The winner of each session will then advance to the semi-final round.

Present at the activity were MPR RI Socialisation Body Member Nurwayah, Acting Secretary General of MPR RI Siti Fauziah, Head of the Bureau for Session Affairs and Constitutional Dissemination of the MPR RI Secretariat General Wachid Nugroho, the panel of judges, and accompanying teachers of the participants.
