MPR Member Himmatul Aliyah Urges Youth to Become the Frontline Guardians of Pancasila
MPR RI Socialisation Agency member Himmatul Aliyah emphasised that the Smart Competition (LCC) on the Four Pillars of the MPR RI is not merely an intelligence contest. Furthermore, the event serves as a forum for internalising the nation’s fundamental values, namely Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. “You are not just participants, but also national ambassadors. Your presence here is not merely to compete, but to prove that Indonesia’s young generation loves their country and is ready to become guardians of the nation’s noble values,” said Himmatul in a written statement on Saturday (25/4/2026). She conveyed this while opening the selection for the 2026 Smart Competition (LCC) on the Four Pillars of the MPR RI at the Provincial Level for the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, at the Novotel Ballroom, Jakarta, on Saturday (25/4). Himmatul expressed appreciation to all parties involved, including the Special Capital Region of Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov), the Education Office (Disdik), school principals, teachers, and competition participants who have actively participated in the Provincial Level Smart Competition (LCC) on the Four Pillars of the MPR RI for the Special Capital Region of Jakarta. “Once again, the Special Capital Region of Jakarta Province proves itself as one of the provinces that never tires of producing outstanding generations for Indonesia,” said Himmatul. On that occasion, Himmatul also delivered five important messages to the young generation. First, to become guardians of Pancasila as a moral compass in life. Second, to respect the constitution and safeguard democracy with full responsibility. Third, to nurture unity amid diversity. Fourth, to become a digital generation that is ethical and wise in using technology. And fifth, to dare to dream big and work hard to realise Golden Indonesia 2045. “Use digital intelligence to build, not to destroy. To unite, not to divide,” Himmatul stressed. Furthermore, she highlighted the importance of Jakarta’s role as the centre of national dynamics that has produced many national leaders. According to Himmatul, an environment full of challenges and diversity makes Jakarta a real leadership learning space for the young generation. “Now, the baton is in your hands. I am confident that from this Smart Competition on the Four Pillars of the MPR RI, future leaders will emerge who will bring Indonesia to greater prosperity,” said Himmatul. This event is expected not only to produce winners but also to strengthen the spirit of nationalism, integrity, and character of Indonesia’s young generation. Participants were urged to uphold sportsmanship and to make every experience in the competition a means of learning. “Victory must be thanked, defeat must be used as fuel to rise higher,” said Himmatul. With a spirit of togetherness and nationalism, the 2026 LCC on the Four Pillars of the MPR RI is hoped to become a concrete step in preparing Indonesia’s golden generation towards 2045.
