The MPR RI Inspectorate is providing assistance with Microsoft account activation to make it easier for staff to complete conflict-of-interest disclosure forms through the Conflict-of-Interest Management Information System (SIMPATIK) application. The service, running from 26 to 29 October 2026, is being held in the Delegation Room at the Nusantara IV Building, Parliament Complex, Jakarta.

“This is an institutional effort to follow up on the mandate of Minister for Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation No. 17 of 2024, as well as the national strategy to eradicate corruption. After the launch, we monitored progress and found that some staff were still facing difficulties, particularly because they had not activated their Microsoft accounts,” MPR RI Inspector Anies Mayangsari Muninggar said in a statement on Monday (26 October 2026).

The help desk service follows the launch of the SIMPATIK application on 8 October 2026. It also forms part of the implementation of MPR RI Secretary-General Regulation No. 6 of 2026 on managing conflicts of interest within the MPR RI Secretariat-General.

Anies explained that the MPR RI Inspectorate is working with the Information Systems and Data Division (BSID) and the MPR RI Public Relations and Information Systems Bureau to provide direct assistance to staff experiencing problems activating their Microsoft accounts. Once their accounts are active, staff are expected to proceed with completing the conflict-of-interest disclosure form through SIMPATIK.

To facilitate the process, the MPR RI Inspectorate has prepared guides for activating Microsoft accounts and completing conflict-of-interest forms. The guides cover instructions for filling in each field and include an animated explainer on the process, from disclosure to verification.

“Step-by-step guidance is available for Microsoft account activation. We have also prepared a guide and animation for conflict-of-interest disclosures, from recording to verification, so staff can complete the forms easily,” she said.

In addition to opening the help desk, the MPR RI Inspectorate is making greater use of SIMPATIK Friends in each work unit. They are responsible for raising awareness, explaining how to complete the forms, and assisting staff who encounter technical problems or have difficulty understanding the form’s substance.

Anies said she hoped all staff would complete the conflict-of-interest forms this week. The initiative is expected to increase compliance with disclosure requirements across the MPR RI Secretariat-General from 70 per cent to at least 80 per cent.

She stressed that recording conflicts of interest was not merely an administrative requirement, but part of efforts to build integrity and prevent potential abuse of authority within the MPR RI Secretariat-General.

“Completing this form is an obligation for all MPR RI staff, in fulfilment of the Minister for Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform’s regulation and the national strategy to eradicate corruption. Let us complete SIMPATIK to safeguard our integrity and eliminate corruption within the MPR RI Secretariat-General,” she said.

Through the assistance service, the MPR RI Secretariat-General is seeking to improve staff compliance with conflict-of-interest disclosures while strengthening transparent, accountable and integrity-based institutional governance.
