MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani has summoned two judges from the Four Pillars Quiz Competition (LCC) in West Kalimantan that went viral. Muzani stated that the two judges have been reprimanded.

“It’s done. We called them earlier. We’ve reprimanded them,” Muzani said during a press conference at the MPR building in Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

Muzani said that the MPR, as an institution, has directly conveyed an apology. He stated that the apology represents the two judges, Dyastasita and Indri Wahyuni, who are officials in the MPR Secretariat General.

“Yes, the MPR institution has already been conveyed by Mr Secretary General. One of our leaders has conveyed the apology. So that represents the whole, including the judges, because this is an institutional activity, not an individual one,” he said.

The Indonesian MPR has subsequently decided to rerun the final of the LCC Four Pillars in West Kalimantan. Muzani said his side has listened to all input from the public.

“The judges who will judge the Quiz Competition are independent judges,” he stated.

MPR RI Secretary General Siti Fauziah previously stated that her side respects the attention and input from the public regarding the dynamics in the competition. In a circulating video viewed on Monday (11/5), the judges gave different scores for the same answer from participants. In the competition, Group C from SMAN 1 Pontianak received a minus five score for an answer related to the process of selecting BPK members.

However, a similar answer given by Group B from SMAN 1 Sambas was given a score of 10 by the same judge, namely the Head of the Assessment Bureau of the MPR RI Secretariat General, Dyastasita. Participants from Group C protested, feeling their answer was the same. However, the judge stated that Group C’s answer did not clearly mention the Regional Representative Council (DPD).

Siti mentioned that the organising committee is currently conducting an internal investigation regarding the scoring of participants’ answers. Her side assured a comprehensive evaluation of all technical aspects of the competition’s implementation.
