MPLS Begins, Sekolah Rakyat Terintegrasi 1 Bogor Regency Ready to Accommodate 1,080 Students

A new step in expanding access to education for underprivileged communities has begun in Bogor Regency. Thousands of students from primary, junior secondary, and senior secondary levels are ready to participate in the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) at Sekolah Rakyat Terintegrasi (SRT) 1 Bogor Regency, Jasinga, West Java.

The commencement of MPLS marks the point at which the educational complex, built on 6.96 hectares of land, has entered the utilisation phase to support the Sekolah Rakyat programme.

For PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero), the start of MPLS is a significant milestone as it signifies that the facilities constructed have begun to deliver direct benefits to the community.

PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) Corporate Secretary, Dian Sovana, stated that overall, SRT 1 Bogor Regency is designed to accommodate up to 1,080 students, particularly from families classified within decile 1 and decile 2.

“This is not merely about constructing school buildings; the area is designed as an integrated educational ecosystem. Approximately 29 buildings stand within a single complex equipped with educational facilities and student life support amenities, ranging from school buildings for primary, junior secondary, and senior secondary levels, male and female dormitories, teacher dormitories, a multipurpose hall, places of worship, a canteen, sports fields, to green open spaces,” said Dian in a statement on Monday, 24 August 2026.

The educational complex is situated in a hilly area at an elevation of approximately 161 metres above sea level. The integrated layout of the complex is expected to create a safe, comfortable learning environment that supports student activities throughout their education.

Dian explained that the completion of SRT 1 Bogor Regency is part of Brantas Abipraya’s contribution to supporting the government’s strategic programmes, particularly in expanding access to adequate educational infrastructure.

“We are grateful that the construction of SRT 1 Bogor Regency has been completed and is now being utilised by the community. For Brantas Abipraya, every infrastructure project we build does not end with the completion of construction work, but must deliver tangible benefits to the community. We hope this school becomes a safe, comfortable, and high-quality learning space for students,” said Dian.

According to her, the development of educational infrastructure holds significant importance, as the quality of learning facilities contributes to the creation of an educational environment that supports the development of learners.
