MP Rajiv Distributes 50 PIP Grants to Students at SLB in Lembang
Education is not just the right of a select few children, but the right of all the nation’s children. This assistance is hoped to alleviate educational needs while boosting the learning spirit of children with special needs,” said Rajiv in his statement on Friday (8/5/2026).
During the visit, Rajiv was seen interacting directly with the students. He greeted them, chatted, and closely observed the learning activities of the children, which continued with full enthusiasm.
The young politician also expressed his happiness at meeting the students in person. According to him, seeing the children learn, play, and grow like other children is a special joy.
“To my children at SLB ABC YPLAB, it feels wonderful that we can meet in person today. Seeing you enjoy school days, learning, playing, and growing with full enthusiasm just like other children,” he said.
Not only to the students, Rajiv also gave appreciation to the parents, whom he considers to have a significant role in accompanying children with special needs.
“To the parents, you are great parents who continue to accompany, strengthen, and fight for the future of your children with full love and sincerity. May every effort made lead to a better future for your beloved children,” he stated.
He also emphasised the importance of the roles of teachers and parents in the education of children with special needs, which requires patience and sincerity in the learning process.
On that occasion, Rajiv also responded to the school’s needs regarding wheelchair facilities. He even stated that he would provide assistance exceeding the initial request.
“Madam school principal regarding the wheelchair request, not four wheelchairs, tomorrow I will give five wheelchairs,” said Rajiv, which was met with gratitude from the students’ parents.
This visit serves as a message that every child has the same right to learn, grow, and achieve a future. Rajiv believes that the state must continue to be present in supporting inclusive education, especially for children who need extra attention.
