Mowilex Partners with Dompet Dhuafa to Distribute 1,000 Aid Packages to Aceh

PT Mowilex Indonesia partnered with Yayasan Dompet Dhuafa to distribute humanitarian aid consisting of 1,000 Mowilex Kits, directed to the districts of Bireuen, Langsa, and Aceh Tamiang in Aceh Province. Specifically, the distribution took place in the villages of Krueng Simpo and Salah Sirong. Those two villages remain isolated due to the destruction of the connecting bridge in February 2026. The aid provided to flood- and landslide-affected residents includes staple food and hygiene kits. The aid packages are packed in specially prepared 20-litre pail containers to facilitate handling during distribution. The aid is projected to meet the basic living needs of a family for up to a week.

‘Since the company’s founding, Mowilex has grown together with the communities we serve. This is a value inherited from our founders. When communities are facing difficult times, we want to be there for them in ways that are relevant and beneficial,’ said Mowilex Indonesia’s Chief Executive Officer Niko Safavi in Jakarta on Wednesday (4 March 2026).

According to Niko, post-disaster recovery is a long-term process. ‘We hope this assistance can help meet the basic needs of those affected during the transition toward post-disaster recovery.’
