Mountainous Areas in Cisolok District, Sukabumi Can Now Receive Cellular Network Signal
Coinciding with the spirit of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, Telkomsel Jabotabek Jabar has introduced 4G/LTE network services around Cisolok District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, which previously faced limited telecommunications access. This step continues Telkomsel’s commitment to serve wholeheartedly by providing inclusive and meaningful connectivity for all levels of society.
The Telkomsel 4G/LTE network, which began operating on the Independence Day commemoration, serves communities in a number of areas of Cisolok District and its surroundings, including Sukarame Village, Cimaja Village and Margalaksana Village. For local residents, the presence of reliable telecommunications networks is more than just communication access.
Previously, some residents experienced difficulty making telephone calls or accessing the internet due to the geographical conditions of the area, which is dominated by hills and mountains. Now, residents can enjoy more stable communication services and digital connectivity to support their daily activities.
General Manager Region Network Operations and Productivity Eastern Jabotabek Telkomsel, Permata J. Simarmata, stated that the independence momentum reminds us that every Indonesian citizen has the right to equal opportunities to develop, including through quality telecommunications access and digital services, in line with the spirit of ‘Sepenuh Hati Memaknai’.
“Telkomsel continues to strive to provide meaningful connectivity even to areas with geographical challenges. We hope that the presence of the 4G/LTE network in Cisolok District and surrounding areas can open more opportunities for the community to communicate, access information, increase productivity and help their economy,” he said.
According to Permata, better network access is expected to help the community obtain information more quickly, expand market access, support business activities, and open new economic opportunities through the use of digital technology. Telkomsel’s connectivity also provides opportunities for the community to remain connected with family, public services, education, and various digital platforms that can support an improved quality of life.
“As Indonesia’s leading digital telecommunications service provider, Telkomsel continues to expand coverage and improve network quality on an ongoing basis to ensure that the benefits of connectivity can be enjoyed more evenly,” he said.
Permata said Telkomsel is committed to continuing to provide networks and services that not only connect communities, but also open opportunities for Indonesia’s progress to the farthest corners of the country. Further information regarding the Telkomsel network can be accessed at www.telkomsel.com.
