KOMPAS.com - The Motorola mobile phone vendor has expanded its affordable smartphone line by launching the Moto G37 Power in the Indian market on Tuesday, 19 May 2026. The phone arrives as a new variant of the Moto G37 ‘regular’ family, which had already been released globally in April. As the latest model, the Moto G37 Power is positioned as the top variant because it offers a number of features superior to the regular variant. Motorola equips this entry-level phone with a 7,000 mAh battery. The battery is claimed to be able to last up to three days on a single charge. Motorola even includes Battery Care technology that is claimed to maintain battery health up to 1,200 charging cycles in long-term use. In terms of specifications, the Moto G37 Power is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset based on a 6-nanometre manufacturing process that supports 5G connectivity. The chip is paired with RAM up to 6GB and internal storage (storage) UFS 2.2 up to 128 GB. A RAM boost feature is also available to improve multitasking performance. For the display, the Moto G37 Power is equipped with an LCD HD Plus panel measuring 6.7 inches with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen supports Display Colour Boost technology with brightness up to 1,050 nits. Motorola also includes the Smart Water Touch feature which allows the screen to stay responsive even when used with wet hands. Meanwhile on the front, there is an 8 MP selfie camera placed in the top-centre of the screen for selfies or video calls. Motorola also equips the device with stereo Dolby Atmos speakers, Hi-Res Audio support, two microphones, and a 3.5 mm audio jack, which is increasingly rare on modern phones. In terms of durability, the Moto G37 Power comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, and an IP64 rating indicating the device is dust and splash resistant. This device runs the Android 16 operating system layered with the Hello UI interface. Motorola promises the phone will receive OS Android 17 updates and security updates for three years.
