Motorcyclists Shift Moveable Concrete Barrier on Daan Mogot After Bajaj Breaks Down

A number of motorcyclists dismantled the concrete barrier along the Transjakarta lane on Jalan Daan Mogot, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, on Friday (6 March 2026). In a video posted by Instagram account @jakartabarat24jam, motorcyclists were seen pushing the Moveable Concrete Barrier (MCB) to straddle the middle of the road so that motorcycles could exit onto the regular lane. The head of traffic section of Cengkareng Police, AKP Yeni, confirmed the incident around 6:00 PM WIB. Yeni explained that a Transjakarta bus driver was also briefly trapped in the lane because a bajaj broke down in the middle of the congestion. “That bajaj was moving through the traffic, then ran out of fuel, and finally stalled,” he said. As a result, the Transjakarta bus and other vehicles were held up, and the ensuing congestion was unavoidable. The traffic flow on Jalan Daan Mogot returned to normal.
