Motorcyclist with Three Passengers Goes Viral After Entering Batang Toll Road

A distressing incident occurred at KM 350 of the Batang toll road, where a motorcyclist was seen entering the motorway and driving against the flow of traffic. The footage, which has circulated widely on social media, has caused significant concern regarding safety on the route.

When asked for confirmation, the President Director of PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang, Nasrullah, explained that the incident took place on Friday (15/5) at approximately 12:14 WIB. “PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang expresses its apologies for the inconvenience caused by the entry of a two-wheeled vehicle into the Batang-Semarang toll road via the Kandeman Toll Gate,” said Nasrullah.

Nasrullah stated that the motorcyclist entered through the Kandeman Toll Gate. Toll gate officers immediately attempted to call out to and stop the rider upon entry. The information was then relayed to Mobile Customer Service (MCS) officers, security personnel, and the Communication Centre (Senkom) for further handling. By 12:31 WIB, the rider and the vehicle were brought to the Kandeman Toll Gate Office for questioning.

According to the rider’s explanation, they claimed to be unaware that they had entered the toll road and stated they did not hear the warnings from officers or other road users.
