Motorcyclist Strays onto Cikampek Toll Road After Misreading Map App

A video of a female motorcyclist named Kokom riding casually along the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road has gone viral. Kokom claimed she misread Google Maps, which led her to enter the toll road. In the circulating footage, Kokom is seen riding leisurely on the toll road while cars speed past in the same direction. The Head of the Cikampek PJR Induk, Police Commissioner Kompol Sandy Titah Nugraha, stated the incident occurred on Tuesday (30/6/2026) at 8.30 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. Kokom entered via the Karawang Barat toll gate. “According to her statement, the rider wanted to go to the KIIC (Karawang International Industrial City) area and then followed Google Maps, which directed her onto the toll road,” Sandy said when contacted on Wednesday (1/7/2026). Officers subsequently stopped Kokom and directed her to exit the toll road.
