Motorcyclist Killed by Locals Over Wrong Turn in West Bandung

A citizen from Kampung Hegarmanah, RT 02/01, Desa Nyenang, Cipeundeuy Subdistrict, West Bandung Regency, West Java, died after being beaten by a motorcyclist. The assault occurred on Tuesday, 28 May 2026, in the evening.

‘Yes, an assault has occurred resulting in the death of a citizen,’ said Cimahi Police District Public Relations Head, Iptu Gofur Supangkat, when questioned on Thursday, 28 May 2026.

The tragic incident began when the suspect quarrelled with the motorcyclist carrying the victim on the Cipeundeuy-Rajamandala main road. The suspect was angered by the motorcyclist’s wrong turn.

‘It began with a quarrel on the main road; the victim was riding with his friend, which made the suspect angry due to the wrong turn,’ he said.
