Motorcycles seized in Jayapura

JAYAPURA, Irian Jaya: Police in Irian Jaya seized on Thursday
hundreds of motorcycles that lacked necessary fixtures and whose
owners failed to produce legal documents.

The seizure was made during a raid on unlicensed two-wheeled
vehicles in the province's capital of Jayapura.

Some of the seized motorcycles were not equipped with
necessary fixtures like number plates and rearview mirrors, while
the owners of several motorcycles did not have driving licenses
or vehicle registration. --Antara
