Motorcycle Thief Who Killed Police Officer in Lampung Dies in Shootout
The hunt for Bahroni, the motorcycle thief armed with a firearm who killed a police officer, Bripka Anumerta Arya Supena (32), in Lampung, has come to an end. During the police pursuit, authorities engaged in a shootout while attempting to apprehend the motorcycle thief who killed Bripka Arya. Initially, police tracked the suspect’s hideout in Teluk Hantu, Pagar Jaya Village, Punduh Pidada District, Pesawaran Regency, Lampung. As they moved to arrest him, the suspect resisted and a shootout ensued. During the pursuit to the hideout in Teluk Hantu, Pagar Village, the suspect died after being involved in a shootout with authorities. Police successfully apprehended the perpetrator who shot Bripka Anumerta Arya Supena (32). The perpetrator died after being involved in a shootout with officers. The suspect, Bahroni, died after being hit by police bullets during the shootout. Lampung Police Chief, Irjen Pol Helfi Assegaf, said that the suspect’s body has now been taken to the Bhayangkara Hospital of the Lampung Police. “That’s right, it has been resolved. The arrest took place at 05:00 WIB this morning,” he said on Friday (15/5). “The body has been evacuated by a joint team to the Bhayangkara Hospital of the Lampung Police,” he added. Helfi said that during the arrest, they secured several pieces of evidence, including a motorcycle and a firearm. Previously, on Saturday (9/5) morning in front of a bakery on Jalan ZA Pagar Alam Kedaton, Bandarlampung, Arya died after being shot in the head by the motorcycle thief.
