Motorcycle stolen at mosque

BEKASI: Ramadhan fasting month does not stop criminals to steal a motorcycle at a mosque here on Tuesday afternoon.

Harun, a resident of Bekasi Jaya Indah housing complex in Duren Jaya area, lost his Honda Grand motorcycle while praying at Al Falah mosque in Bekasi Permai housing complex in East Bekasi.

"I parked my motorbike at the mosque's parking lot as I wanted to say prayers," Harun said in a police report.

"I did not even expect to lose my motorcycle here."

Harun said he did not find his motorcycle after praying at the mosque and tried to look for it around the mosque complex only to no avail.

"The culprits must have been very brave to operate in such a crowded area during Ramadhan fasting month," said Hasan as quoted by Antara.
