Moto Buds 2 and Moto Buds 2 Plus TWS Earbuds Launched, Bose Audio Support, 48-Hour Battery

Motorola has unveiled two new True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds, the Moto Buds 2 Plus and Moto Buds 2, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 technology exhibition in Barcelona, Spain, on Wednesday 4 March 2025. In terms of features, the Moto Buds 2 Plus deliver superior audio thanks to tuning by renowned audio brand Bose. The TWS also features Hi-Res Audio and spatial audio to provide a more immersive listening experience. Meanwhile, the Moto Buds 2 emphasise longer battery life of up to 48 hours with the charging case, and Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 55 dB to muffle surrounding noise. Full specifications: These earbuds are equipped with an 11 mm dynamic driver to deliver deeper bass and Knowles balanced armature to enhance clarity and precision. Moto Buds 2 Plus also supports Hi-Res Audio with Low-Latency High Definition Audio Codec (LHDC) and Spatial Audio for high-quality wireless playback. To minimise external disturbances, the Moto Buds 2 Plus are equipped with Dynamic ANC for outdoor use. During calls, the Moto Buds 2 Plus use six microphones with Environmental Noise Cancellation to ensure the user’s voice is clearer. Motorola also includes CrystalTalk AI, which can be activated via the Moto Buds app to improve voice clarity in noisy environments. On power, Moto Buds 2 Plus claims up to 9 hours on a single charge. When combined with the charging case, total playback time can reach up to 40 hours. In terms of connectivity, these earbuds support Dual Connection so they can connect to two devices simultaneously, such as a laptop and a phone, without re-pairing. There is also an Audio Share feature allowing two pairs of Moto Buds 2 Plus to connect to a single mobile phone for shared listening. Meanwhile, Wear Detection will automatically pause music when the earbuds are removed from the ears. Users can also tailor settings via touch gestures for various functions, such as playing music, skipping tracks, answering calls, or invoking a voice assistant.
