Registration for free motorcycle transport (Motis) during Lebaran 2026 via train has officially opened on 1 March. The registration process is conducted both online and offline at designated railway stations.

According to the official Instagram account of the Directorate General of Railways, Ministry of Transportation (@ditjenperkeretaapian), Motis Lebaran 2026 registration runs from 1-29 March 2026. Details are as follows.

Participants in the Jabodetabek region can drop off their motorcycles at the nearest registration station, where officials will transport them by truck.

Terms and Conditions for Motis Lebaran 2026

  • Participants must not be registered with or participating in other free mudik programmes.

  • Participants who have registered for Motis must complete the programme; those who withdraw or cancel forfeit participation in the programme for the following year.

  • Participants who have successfully registered online must undergo verification at the checkpoint, in accordance with the verification time selected during registration.

  • Participants registering only a motorcycle must provide proof of alternative transportation.

  • Upon motorcycle handover, participants must present their original identity card and registration proof.

  • Train ticket booking codes will be issued upon motorcycle handover.

  • Participants are prohibited from tipping Motis 2026 officers.

  • All participants must comply with applicable regulations.

Requirements for Registration and Motorcycle Handover for Motis Participants

  • Each participant must possess an identity card, family card (KK) and Class C driving licence.

  • One motorcycle can be facilitated for the purchase of two passenger tickets and one infant ticket (child under three years old), with the following requirements:

  • Purchase of train tickets for Motis participants must be in the name of the registered Motis participant.

  • The second passenger must be listed on the family card of the registered participant.

  • Purchased tickets cannot be cancelled, rescheduled or have passenger names changed.

  • Motorcycles with maximum engine capacity of 200 cc.

  • Motorcycles must be handed over one or two days before the motorcycle departure date.

  • Motorcycles brought to the handover station or collected at the destination station will incur parking fees charged by the official station car park operator.

  • Helmets and side mirrors may not be left on deposit.

  • The fuel tank must be emptied at the time of handover.
