Moroccan arrested over prostitution

JAKARTA (JP): Immigration officials detained a Moroccan
national for questioning on Friday over charges of prostitution,
after arresting her at a hotel in Central Jakarta.

Central Jakarta Immigration Chief M. Djaelani identified the
woman as Dri Ssin Sahmaoui, 30.

"She has a genuine Moroccan passport and has come to Indonesia
on a tourist visa. We have been observing this woman for some
time now," Djaelani told reporters.

"One of my officers went undercover, propositioned her today
(Friday) and got her into the room. A while later, she was
arrested." (ylt)
