Morgue receives 105 bodies

JAKARTA (JP): The morgue at the Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital in Central Jakarta received 105 people last month, killed in various accidents, the morgue records indicate.

"The number does not include the criminals killed in police raids, or those who died from natural causes," a morgue attendant said yesterday.

Sixty nine of the dead bodies were people killed in traffic accidents in the city, while 32 were vagrants found dead around the city and four bodies were people who had killed themselves.

The number of dead bodies received by the morgue every month fluctuates, the attendant said. (jun)
