Morgan-Astra mutual funds

JAKARTA (JP): PT Morgan Grenfell Astra Investment Management will next week launch two mutual funds -- Reksa Dana Modal Plus and Reksa Dana Multi Plus.

The new funds are aiming to attract investments worth Rp 600 billion (US$250 million).

Company director Candelario Tambis said yesterday that Reksa Dana Modal Plus would be invested in equity and Reksa Dana Multi Plus in fixed income securities.

He said the funds would be on the market from Friday.

Morgan Grenfell Astra Investment is a joint venture of Morgan Grenfell Investment Management Asia Ltd and PT Sedaya Multi Investama, an investment arm of the country's largest automaker PT Astra International. (09)
