Today, I am not just seeing competition participants. I am seeing the future leaders of Indonesia. You are the generation that will one day determine the nation’s direction—whether it remains steadfast in national values or erodes under the tides of changing times. The future depends greatly on all of you,” stated Dyastasita in her remarks on Saturday (2/5/2026).

This was emphasised at the opening of the 2026 LCC on the Four Pillars of the MPR RI for Bangka Belitung Province, held at the Soll Marina Hotel in Central Bangka, Bangka Belitung Islands.

Dyastasita also expressed appreciation to the Bangka Belitung Provincial Education Office, school principals, guiding teachers, and all parties who contributed to the success of this event reaching the provincial final stage.

Dyastasita expressed pride in the nine selected schools, as they had fiercely competed in the district/city level selections, defeating hundreds of schools to reach the provincial level with just nine schools.

“The participants present today are the best selections from all districts/cities. This means you are not only representing your schools but also the finest generation from your respective regions. From hundreds of participating schools, only the nine best teams stand here today. This is an achievement to be proud of,” said Dyastasita.

Nevertheless, Dyastasita stressed that this event is not merely about winning or losing, but about the courage to speak out and the courage to express ideas and thoughts.

“It is also about the commitment to continuous learning and understanding national values. This nation needs not only an intelligent generation but also one with character and an Indonesian spirit,” Dyastasita asserted.

Dyastasita further emphasised that the Four Pillars of the MPR RI are not mere memorisation. Starting with Pancasila, it is not just text but must live in daily attitudes. The 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia is not just articles but a foundation for understanding law and justice.

Next, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) is not merely a form of state but a commitment to maintaining unity. Likewise, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is not just a motto but a way of life for mutual respect and understanding of diversity.

Dyastasita views that Bangka Belitung Province has great human resource potential. With around 120,000 high school-aged youth, this is a vital asset in building the future.

“Today, we see part of that finest generation as candidates for Indonesia’s Golden Generation of 2045. However, amid the rapid flow of information and ever-changing dynamics of the times, the youth face increasingly complex challenges. Therefore, national values must serve as the primary compass so that we do not lose our way as a nation,” explained Dyastasita.

Meanwhile, the Acting Head of the Bangka Belitung Provincial Education Office, Saipul Bakhri, expressed extraordinary appreciation for the organisation of the LCC on the Four Pillars of the MPR RI.

“As stakeholders in education in Bangka Belitung Province, we greatly appreciate this extraordinary initiative by the MPR RI to strengthen the noble national values through the Four Pillars of Nationalism,” stated Saipul.

Saipul explained that this event is not solely to measure students’ intelligence levels but to ensure that these national values are truly understood, internalised, and embedded in every individual. He also reminded participants to maintain unity.

“I hope that the young participants competing in this competition today can become agents of change in their school and community environments. Become a generation capable of safeguarding and practising national values, such as the spirit of unity and oneness, as well as tolerance,” he added.

For information, the nine schools that successfully passed the district/city preliminary rounds in Bangka Belitung Province are SMA Negeri 1 Sungailiat, SMA Negeri 1 Mendo Barat, MAN Insan Cendekia Bangka Tengah, SMA Negeri 1 Manggar, SMA Negeri 1 Pemali, SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Pandang, SMA Santo Yosef Pangkalpinang, SMA Negeri 1 Toboali, and SMK Negeri 1 Toboali.

The judges for this event come from the MPR RI General Secretariat and the Bangka Belitung Provincial Education Office, namely the Head of the MPR RI Constitutional Assessment Bureau Dyastasita WB, the Head of the MPR RI Leadership Secretariat Bureau Agus Subagyo, and the Acting Head of the High School Development Division of the Bangka Belitung Provincial Education Office Deswarman.

As an integral part of the event, one day before the competition, all participants received material presentations delivered by the Head of the MPR RI Leadership Secretariat Bureau Agus Subagyo. This was followed by a technical meeting and group drawing conducted by the MPR RI General Secretariat.
