More than 10,000 Commuters Depart via the Free Joint Homecoming Programme
In welcoming Eid al-Fitr, Bank Mandiri has once again introduced the Free Joint Homecoming Programme as a tangible manifestation of the company’s commitment to strengthening social values and providing direct benefits to the community. Through this programme, Bank Mandiri organises a series of safe and comfortable joint homecomings for the public, in line with government directives to support free homecoming arrangements for the community.
This year’s homecoming series is implemented through close collaboration with strategic stakeholders, including the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN) and Danantara, under the theme “Safe Homecoming, Sharing Hopes 2026” as the programme’s umbrella, to strengthen ecosystem synergies and ensure the smooth and comfortable travel of the public.
Overall, this year Bank Mandiri is transporting more than 10,000 homecomers in stages, using 215 bus units serving routes to various cities on Java and Sumatra. This number represents a significant increase compared to the previous year.
As part of the programme, Bank Mandiri’s management held a send-off for participants in the Ring Road area of Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK), Jakarta. On that occasion, Bank Mandiri’s Corporate Secretary Adhika Vista stated that this homecoming programme is a manifestation of the company’s commitment to strengthening the social ecosystem and supporting safe and comfortable homecoming journeys for the community.
“We are committed to ensuring that homecomers can achieve peace in celebrating Eid al-Fitr with their families, with comfort and safety as the top priorities in their journeys,” said Adhika in Jakarta on Wednesday (18/3).
In its implementation, registration for the free homecoming programme is conducted digitally via the Livin’ by Mandiri app, making the process easier for the public.
All participants receive supporting facilities, including meals and snacks during the journey, merchandise, and goodie bags containing essentials to support comfort during the homecoming.
Bank Mandiri’s Free Joint Homecoming Programme not only reflects the spirit of togetherness in welcoming the Eid celebration but also aligns with the social values that the company upholds in every initiative. With a sustainable approach, Bank Mandiri strives to continue being a community partner that brings real benefits in important traditions such as homecoming.
In addition to being part of the spirit of togetherness in welcoming Lebaran, this programme also aligns with Bank Mandiri’s Ramadan spirit this year, namely “Appreciate Moments of Blessings by Sharing Goodness”. This theme reflects Bank Mandiri’s commitment to inviting the public to appreciate the holy month as a momentum to bring peace, strengthen social care, and spread real benefits through impactful sharing actions.
Adhika added that through various social initiatives presented throughout Ramadan, Bank Mandiri aims to make every moment of blessing an opportunity to strengthen togetherness and expand contributions to the community, in line with the commitment of Mandiri Serving Wholeheartedly.
“Bank Mandiri is committed to continuing to present initiatives that not only support the smooth running of worship and homecoming traditions but also provide sustainable social added value to the community,” Adhika concluded.
