More promises

The election is over. Now, people are waiting for deliverance
of the promises the campaigners have made. I remember how
officials used slogans like Berseri-Bersinar (smile and glow), or
something of that kind.

The above method is very appealing to the people. One way to
deliver people's expectations is to put every promise down in
writing during House sessions, pin it at the entrance of the
House, pin it behind every member's chair, and if necessary even
stick it to their cars.

We might economize on expenditure this way and it might be
possible that foreign comparative studies are no longer
necessary. Study trips to villages should suffice. We would
economize enormously on expenditure and thereby be able to buy
all SEA Games stickers to relieve the people from the burden of
buying the stickers.
