More Malaysians visit Bali
DENPASAR, Bali: Malaysian tourists visiting Bali in the first quarter of the year totaled 15,621 people, a 66.1 percent increase from the same period last year, according to a report by Bank Indonesia.
The increase was attributed to the rising number of Malaysian budget airlines operating between Bali and Malaysia.
The 66.1 percent increase is the highest among other groups of tourists visiting the resort island in the same period, followed by British tourists with a 52 percent increase, U.S. tourists with 38 percent and Russian tourists with 32 percent. -- Antara
