More Malay songs, please!

I was deeply impressed by the Berpacu Dalam Melody, a program
which involves songs and music, aired on TVRI on Friday evening,
July 1, 1994. This time the program was colored by Malay songs,
with only a few Western songs as interludes.

The occasion turned into a lively evening with rhymed verses
sung by participants and the program host. It is important to
introduce more Malay songs so that the young people will know
them and begin to be fond of them. Why not make Malay songs
popular among the young people?
