More detectives hunt bomb suspects

JAKARTA: To augment efforts to capture Malaysian fugitives Azhari Bin Husin and Noordin Moh. Top as well as their accomplices, police have placed detectives at subdistrict levels to detect their hideouts.

National Police chief of detectives Comr. Gen. Suyitno Landung Sudjono said on Wednesday the deployment was a concrete measure to capture all bomb suspects in the first 100 days of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's government.

"We have sent detectives to monitor rented houses, which are often used as hideouts by the suspected bombers, in every city, regency, district and subdistrict across the country. We hope to arrest them as soon as possible," said Suyitno. --JP
