More Bali victims buried

DENPASAR, Bali: The Disaster Victims Identification team (DVI)
for the Oct. 12 Bali bombings buried two unidentified bodies and
20 bags full of unidentified body parts on Thursday.

"We have contacted every embassy and consulate general whose
citizens may be among the victims, and they've all agreed with
our decision," said I Gde Nurjaya, the Bali provincial
government's public relations chief.

The two bodies were among the last to still remain
unidentified and unclaimed.

The DVI team, led by Australian John Bird, has identified 202
victims within a four-month period.

The team also reported that 191 victims died during the blast,
eight died during treatment in the hospital and three bodies
remained unidentified.

Australian victims topped the number of casualties with 89,
while Indonesia had the second highest number of victims at 37,
followed by Britain 22, Switzerland nine, the United States
seven, Germany six, and the Netherlands four.--Antara
