MORAZEN Yogyakarta Presents Reading Corner at SD Negeri Temon, Kulon Progo
In the spirit of sharing and spreading benefits during the holy month of Ramadan 2026, MORAZEN Yogyakarta has implemented the MORA Impact programme through the development of MORA Learning Corner and MORA Edu Care at SD Negeri Temon, Temon District, Kulon Progo.
The programme represents a response to the limitations in literacy facilities and book collections at several primary schools in the Temon, Kulon Progo region, which has constrained pupils’ opportunities to develop early reading habits.
MORAZEN Yogyakarta began implementation of the programme by enhancing library facilities with wall painting and visual arrangement of spaces that are more comfortable and child-friendly. In addition, the distribution of 90 literacy and education books for primary school age consisting of fiction and non-fiction titles that support the strengthening of reading comprehension and development of pupil knowledge. The collection has been integrated into daily literacy activities at the Perpustakaan Cakap Karya to ensure long-term impact.

We hope that with this reading corner, our pupils will increasingly engage in literacy activities in the Perpustakaan Cakap Karya. We hope our children become accomplished pupils and continue to produce quality work. We pray to the team at MORAZEN that may this charitable deed be rewarded by Allah SWT with extraordinary blessings,” said Acting Principal of SD Negeri Temon, Ibu Titi Agustinah, in a statement on Monday, 2 March.
General Manager of MORAZEN Yogyakarta, David Priambowo, stated that through this programme MORAZEN Yogyakarta reaffirms its commitment to delivering sustainable social impact and supporting the achievement of SDG 4: Quality Education, as part of genuine contribution towards building the next generation.
“This reading corner is not the first we have presented. Similar programmes have been implemented at several schools in the Kulon Progo region, including SDN Temon. We will continue to visit and conduct regular checks regarding implementation. This is part of our management’s vision to bring benefits to the surrounding environment. Praise be to God, this initiative has been well received by SDN Temon. Once again thank you, may this programme be beneficial to all the younger pupils,” said David.
