Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI, Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, has appreciated the readiness of officials in managing the Eid al-Fitr 2026 homecoming traffic flow. He also stated that inter-agency coordination is proceeding very well.

This was conveyed by Cucun after conducting monitoring of the Eid al-Fitr 2026 homecoming traffic at several crucial points in Bandung Regency, West Java, on Thursday (19/3). The inspection was carried out to ensure security, comfort, and smooth services for homecomers passing through the southern route.

“From today’s monitoring results, overall inter-agency coordination is running very well. We in the DPR RI continue to monitor to ensure that public facilities and safety aspects remain the top priority. We also urge homecomers not to push themselves; utilise the available posts to rest for collective safety,” said the legislator from West Java in an official statement.

Cucun’s journey began with a visit to the Integrated Post of the Cileunyi Police Sector. As one of the main traffic bottleneck points in West Java, he checked the readiness of police personnel and regional security coordination. Cucun emphasised the importance of quick responses to potential congestion and security disruptions in vulnerable areas.

Next, the politician from the PKB Faction proceeded to the C1NTA Post (Cileunyi, Nagreg, Tasikmalaya). There, he engaged in dialogue with cross-sectoral officials regarding the implementation of traffic engineering management to alleviate vehicle volume density heading east.

The monitoring activities concluded with receiving a comprehensive briefing from the Bandung Regency Transportation Agency (Dishub). The agency presented the latest data on vehicle volume statistics, congestion points, and readiness of public transport fleets.

Cucun stated that this inspection is expected to further strengthen synergy between central and regional governments. Thus, the Eid al-Fitr 2026 homecoming services can run more optimally, well-organised, and provide a sense of security and comfort for all communities.
