Monday talks on communism

JAKARTA (JP): A discussion will be held on a new book titled
Bayang-bayang PKI (Shadows of the Indonesian Communist Party) on
Monday at Central Hotel in East Jakarta.

Political scientist Arbi Sanit of the University of Indonesia
will be the main speaker at the talks which will start after the
breaking of the fast at 7 p.m.

The discussion is organized by the Jakarta-based Institute for
the Study of Information Flow, which published the book.

The Institute is chaired by former chief editor of Tempo,
Goenawan Mohamad. (anr)
